Caretaker/Janitor – Goldenhill Community Centre

10 hours per week – At the current National Living Wage Rate

(Wednesday afternoon – 4 hours; Friday, Saturday and Sunday mornings – 2 hours)

Funded up to September 2026 at which stage the role will be reviewed further.

 

Goldenhill Community Centre is at the heart of our local community and has undergone a huge transformation over the past two years since Just Family CIC has taken over the running of it.

The Centre is now a hub for activities, hosting a number of community groups and events requiring the need for a Caretaker/Janitor to assist us with keeping up with community demand.

Just Family CIC’s vision is for every family to live happy, healthy lives with positive relationships and a chance to reach their potential.

Together, we help and promote emotional health and wellbeing, and ensure a holistic whole family approach to make a genuine difference to families lives now and help them build brighter futures.

KEY DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Setting up/clearing away of tables and chairs
  • Outside general maintenance
  • Checking/testing equipment
  • General cleaning
  • Cleaning of bar lines

Due to the nature of the organisation, there may be additional duties and responsibilities required in addition to these above. Please note that this position does require lifting and manual handling. Experience is desired but full training can be provided.
