Just Family CIC’s vision is for every family to live happy, healthy lives with positive relationships and a chance to reach their potential.
Therefore, Just Family CIC has made it their mission to provide a range of quality support services, including peer support groups, parental workshops, 1-1 tailored support, advocacy, mentorship, signposting and accredited interventions, all run by specialist trained practitioners and volunteers.
Together, we help and promote emotional health and wellbeing, and ensure a holistic whole family approach to make a genuine difference to families lives now and help them build brighter futures.
Perinatal support group for mum’s mental wellbeing. Running every Monday, Just Us provides peer support, pre and post-natal support, advocacy service and guest speakers to support mums with children from bump to 4 years. Tea, coffee snacks and chat are all provided.
Sessions for parents, carers and their babies and toddlers. Enjoy simple, gentle and playful activities to help build a strong relationship with your little one. Learn about how babies develop and how you play and interact with them during the early stages of their lives.
Perinatal support group to help support dad’s mental wellbeing. Running on the last Saturday of every month, Just Dads provides peer support, advocacy service and guest speakers to support fathers. Tea, coffee snacks and chat are all provided with Just Dads.
One-to-one perinatal, maternal and parent mental wellbeing support for mums, dads, carers and adoptive parents. Tailored one-to-one support including advocacy and appointment support. Support can take place outdoors, walk and talk, and can take place with support or small group support. We can offer one-to-one support including baby and toddler accredited bonding programme.
One-to-one wellbeing sessions for adolescents and young adults age 11-25 years. Sessions designed to support teenagers and young adults one to one to develop a felt sense of safety, develop self and emotional awareness, develop self-regulation and explore different aspects of cultivating emotional wellbeing. Sessions can also be provided for residential care, supporting looked after children who are struggling with emotional well-being.
Just Heart to Heart
Therapeutic child and adolescent play-based attachment intervention for tween/teen and parents to attend together. Run over six sessions, delivered in small groups or with individual parent-child dyads. Heart to Heart draws upon the latest neuroscience and attachment research to strengthen attachment security between children, tweens and teens and their parent/carer through enjoyable, low-key collaborative games, creative activities and psycho-educational content.
Safe, fun and interactive group sessions to support children and adolescents in achieving a state of physical and emotional wellbeing. Sessions can be delivered as individual workshops and courses. Staff movement well-being sessions and workshops also available on request.
Children’s one-to-one wellbeing sessions ages 5-11 years. Sessions are designed to support younger children one-to-one to develop a felt sense of safety, develop self an emotional awareness, be able to self-regulate and explore aspects of cultivating emotional wellbeing. All sessions are therapeutic, fun, engaging and interactive.
Perinatal support group for mums, dads and babies following a traumatic birth delivery, including planned and unplanned C-section.
School Based Programmes
Running Mondays to Fridays for all years, sessions include emotional wellbeing education programme and workshops, heart-to-heart play based intervention and Just Move movement based wellbeing session.
